Motril Port police stop stolen car smuggling suspects

GUARDIA CIVIL police officers have arrested two men at Motril Port for reportedly using counterfeit documents to take a vehicle across the border.
The two arrested men are an Italian and a Moroccan citizen, thirty-three and thirty-six years old, who were intercepted by authorities during the routine control at the boarding gates of the ferry for Melilla.
Police officers found several anomalies on the vehicle documents and, upon contacting Italian authorities, found out that they had been reported stolen in Italy.
The two men were taken into custody and charged with a document forgery crime.
