Feast of sport in weekend ahead

ANOTHER great weekend of sport lies ahead as Andy Murray bids to become the King of Queens, and Lewis Hamilton attempts to grab the mantle of Heir of Austria.

Andy Murray takes on Gilles Muller for a place in the semi-finals after defeating the Spaniard Fernando Verdasco in round two 7-5, 6-4 on Thursday, in what he described as ”a tricky match.”

Formula 1 journeys to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg for the Austrian GP, where the Ferraris of Vettel and Raikkonen are showing great pace and Hamilton is under pressure from the weather conditions. Andy McNish said: ”Mistakes are easy to make in Austria and Ferrari will be ready to strike if Mercedes falter.”

If rackets or wheels don’t float your boat, there’s always the golf. The 2015 US Open continues throughout the weekend where Tiger Woods is struggling after carding a 10 over par 80 in the first round.
