The circumstances were described as very similar to those of a previous attempted abduction of another child, a 12-year-old girl, on Thursday June 11 near her school in La Cala.
The news of a second incident of attempted abduction in the Benidorm area triggered a number of comments on social networks from concerned parents, warning others to step up security with regard to getting their children to and from school.Police continue to investigate the facts surrounding the two cases.
