Mallorca police bust summer’s first illegal party

GUARDIA CIVIL and Local Police officers broke up an illegal party on Sunday (June 21), organised at a cottage in Inca.
Dozens of residents of the Cami Vell de Costitx alerted authorities at around 6am complaining about the noise.
Officers attended the area and confirmed that organisers did not possess a necessary permit to hold the event, which had drawn more than 100 participants.
All vehicles attempting to enter and exit the cottage were stopped and passengers searched and identified.
The event had been announced on social media under the cover of a birthday party. However, police reported that an entrance fee was been charged to all guests.
Guardia Civil announced that special deployments would be launched to tackle these sorts of events, popular during the summer season.
