Firefighters turn builders in Cartagena

LOCAL fire crews have been brought in to remove various metallic sheets on the roof of the ill-fated sports complex in Cartagena.
Work began on the Palacio de Deportes in 2006 with a budget of €14.9 million before the crisis set in, but since then, the completion date has continually been put back and it remains unfinished.
