Da Bruno raises funds for charity

DA BRUNO restaurant group has presented the Asociacion CRECE charity with a cheque for €1,470 courtesy of friends and clients of the group.
The association, which works to help and support children and youths with disabilities, began its charity work in Marbella in 2003 to help a group of worried parents who did not know where to turn for support.
At that time the charity worked to assist five children and their families, now it works with more than 60 suffering from Down Syndrome, autism and other disabilities.
Da Bruno Group leader Bruno Filippone said: “The social work Asociacion CRECE does is extraordinary. At Da Bruno we intend to continue working closely with the charity to help it reach its goals. I am very grateful to our clients and friends who have contributed to this worthy cause.”
Of the total amount, €700 came from sales of 132 Da Bruno Recipes books, which are on sale all year round at the group’s five restaurants, and the other nearly €800 from a raffle held at the 2015 Da Bruno Golf Tournament.
Representatives from Asociacion CRECE thanks Da Bruno for their support and generosity, which they said would allow them to continue helping disabled children.
