A CUT in councillors’ wages was proposed by Mayor Jaume Llinares in a bid to save €9,000 per year at Altea Council’s first plenary meeting on Tuesday June 23. Other matters on the agenda included the composition of political groups, the appointment of advisory committees and the schedule for future plenary sessions.
