CHILD FRIENDLY: Children’s meals are also available.
Then look no further than The Pub in Formentera del Segura. Owned by Sheralee Selves and Kenny Tomkins, the couple have made it one of the most popular pubs in the area for locals and visitors and there is no better time to visit than for a Friday night fish treat. Fish and chip specials are served from 6-9pm, costing just €6.50 with mushy or garden peas. Fish is fresh, flaky, tasty and boneless and a great way to start the weekend. Fish goujons with chips and mushy peas are also available for €5.50. The Pub is also family friendly, with children’s meals served daily and outside in the park opposite there are large games of snakes and ladders and bowling, so children will be happily entertained as parents enjoy a night out. The Pub’s Sunday carvery is one of the busiest in the area and is still going strong with a wide range of fresh vegetables and meats each week, costing from €8 for one course, €9 for two or €10 for three. Other specials include home-made chicken curry with a pint every Monday for €5 and Thursday is liver and bacon night for €6.50. The Pub now has a music licence and so will be having various live acts and events launching soon. So whether you want to pop along for a breakfast, served from 9am, a midday snack, such as fresh sausage rolls and pasties or choose from the sandwich and baguette menu or a full, home cooked evening meal, served from 6- 9pm, The Pub has it all. Get down there now and experience their warm hospitality for yourself.
