Motril Council put plan in place for residents at risk of eviction

MOTRIL Council has put a new protocol in place designed to provide support to local people at risk of being evicted from their homes.
Together with the Junta de Andalucia Regional Government and Granada’s Provincial Council, the town has created a method by which those residents who are soon to be evicted from their homes will be provided with social resources and treated in conditions that prioritise and guarantee their personal dignity.
With this protocol, the local, provincial and regional governments are aiming to reduce the impact of such a negative situation, by allowing social services to take measures before the repossession takes place.
