The woman, who also managed the man’s €600 pension, was taken into custody and the victim taken to the Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca. The second case took place in Yecla, when police were alerted by a son who claimed his brother had stopped him from seeing their father for the past three months.Upon their arrival, authorities reported a strong odour coming from the upper floor, where they found another elderly man laying in filth on a bed. He was taken to the Castillo de Yecla Hospital and his 49-year-old son and owner of the property was taken into custody.
