CHARGES for parking by the beach at Guardamar del Segura in Orihuela are to continue this summer.Citizen Safety and Traffic councillor Ana Martinez explained that the council would have to enter costly legal proceedings to cancel the 10-year blue zone contract signed by the former council, which had eight years left to run, and the local finances were not very good.
