Torrevieja hospital union complains of understaffing

COMPLAINTS have been raised by a trade union Cemsatse at the University Hospital of Torrevieja as they claimed there is a worrying lack of personnel.
Cemsatse claimed in a press release that there were not enough places for patients either, and some were being treated in beds set up in hallways.
“Workers who go on holidays or sick leave are not being replaced,” said the document.
They alerted that measures had not been taken to avert this issue during the summer, and many patients were raising complaints, especially those who had to attend accident and emergency.
The hospital’s management responded that it was untrue that patients were being treated in hallways and that more personnel had been recruited if compared with the previous year.

Why are people waiting for a long time for knee operations.?My partner has been waiting over a year now. He has the blood tests etc: to wait for. This could take at the minimum another four months. Why do they leave people in pain for such a long time?
      Who do you complain to??????
