SALOBREÑA council is jumping on the social media hashtag trend to promote the many activities that will take place in the town during the summer season.The Tourism and Coasts Department together with the Guadalinfo centre have encouraged all social media users to use the hashtag #ViveSalobreña (LivingSalobreña) when sharing pictures or comments regarding the town’s summer life to boost the reach of all publications and increase promotion of the town’s activities and places.“Hashtags allow for all publications to be linked, to create trends on social media and make everything that happens in the village during the summer more visible,” said head of the department, Manuel Guirado, who explained that users can also share their suggestions to improve or create new events adapted to the needs of visitors and locals alike.
