THE mayor of Granada is probably in for some stick after inadvertently telling a group of students that women look better half naked.Mayor Jose Torres Hurtado made a rather controversial declaration at the end of a ceremony at the town hall to award diplomas to the 10 students who got the best marks in recent university access exams, when he invited them to a party planned in their honour at a city hotel.“I ask you and your parents to wear informal dress. You all know women look more elegant when they wear less clothes, while men look more elegant in more,” the mayor said in an attempt to encourage the guests to wear something comfortable.
