ENGINES roared on the Costa this week as the SIN Riders passed on their campaign against drinking and driving.
Six bikers, ambassadors of an En la Carretera, Cerveza SIN (On the road, alcohol-free beer) campaign by Cerveceros de España beer distillers’ association in collaboration with the traffic authorities, are spending a month travelling the country to get their message out.
The SIN Riders passed through Ronda, Puerto Banus, Marbella and Malaga city before heading for Granada and the Costa Blanca, stopping off to buy rounds of alcohol-free beer for drivers at roadside bars along the way.
Altogether the campaigners will travel 5,500 kilometres on their bikes spreading the ‘behind the wheel not a drop of alcohol’ ideal.
