A FLIGHT from London to Houston had to be diverted on Wednesday (July 7) when a British man attacked a female passenger he was flying with. Several passengers on the flight tried to restrain him as he assaulted the woman on the British Airways flight to the US.Police detained a 48 year old Wigan man at Boston airport and he has been charged with interfering with a flight crew. The man, named as Darren Halliwell, is expected to face more charges, and is due in court on Thursday (July 8),After the plane landed at Logan International airport in Boston, the man was arrested, and the BA flight then continued its journey on to Houston.
