AN EASYJET flight full of British holidaymakers on their way to Alicante had to make an unexpected stop in Paris on Friday after almost running out of water.
Arrival of flight EXY 6417 was delayed more than two hours as the crew noted the Airbus A319 was running short of water used to make drinks and flush lavatories, and decided to divert to Charles de Gaulle airport in France to top up supplies.
The budget airline later stated that safety and welfare of its passengers and crew are its highest priority, thanked passengers for their patience and apologized for inconvenience.
