Two more runners gored at Pamplona’s San Fermin festival

TWO people were gored on Monday morning’s run in Pamplona, the seventh, and penultimate, day of the San Fermin festival. On the fastest run of the week so far, taking just two minutes and 12 seconds to complete the 825-metre route, one man was gored in the leg, while the other was wounded in the abdomen by one of the bulls’ horns.
A third runner, one of the many to be injured falling and then trampled underneath the feet of fellow runners and bulls’ hooves, had serious enough cuts and bruises to be taken to hospital.
The final run of the festival takes place on Tuesday morning.
