MALAGA urgently needs more blood donations to cover needs this summer as the current heat wave has started to deplete stores.CRTS regional transfusion centre director Isidro Prat has announced that there are just 825 units left in stock, whereas there should always be a minimum of 1,000.Mobile units will be in Fuengirola from July 20-23, Manilva on July 22, Mijas on July 23, on Avenida Andalucia in Malaga city on July 17, 20, 21, 23 and 24 and outside Malaga Ikea on July 22, and anyone able to do so is urged to go and give blood.EWN recommends checking first as people who lived in the UK in the 80s are often restricted from giving blood in Spain.
