RESIDENTS on La Mimosa urbanisation in Altea have raised concerns that the current water shortage they are experiencing has not been addressed by the municipality.The water pressure delivered to the urbanisation notably decreases at peak times and local councillor Roque Ferrer has stated that the lack of water has caused concern amongst residents and could be harmful to the tourist industry that Altea relies on. Ferrer also said that the previous ruling party of the municipality, PP, neglected their duties regarding the maintenance of the water supply infrastructure.
