Budding star wows the crowd in Torremolinos

EWN’S very own writer and translator Maria Jose Fernandez wowed the crowds last night (Monday July 13) at Kokun Ocean club in Torremolinos and bashed the competition into the ground to win the Vocal House Experience competition.
The audience was brought to its feet as the young amateur singer’s amazingly powerful voice stunned the judges, who could hardly fail to award her first prize.
After very little sleep and obviously still floating on her well-deserved triumph, Maria Jose told her colleagues this morning (Tuesday July 14) she could hardly believe it, although here in the office we all knew beforehand she had a very good chance of winning the €1,000 prize.
