A MALAGA court has jailed a father for 18 months for terrorising hospital staff.The man, whose young son suffers a critical illness which is being treated at the city’s Materno Infantil children’s hospital, has also been banned from going within 500 metres of the hospital for three years, has been fined €6 per day for six months and 20 days and ordered to pay SAS Andalucian Health Service €7,063 in damages.The accused had a previous record for aggressive behaviour towards a nurse, and was reported to have insulted, threatened and attacked staff on the hospital’s intensive care and critical care wards during his son’s treatment.
