Father arrested for child abduction

A TORREVIEJA man has been arrested, accused of a crime of child abduction after bringing his son to Spain from Italy where he lived with his mother, without her knowledge.
The couple used to live in Torrevieja before moving to Italy but separated in 2013.
Custody of the child was awarded to the mother. The father is alleged to have taken his son as he played in a park and brought him to Spain without his mother’s permission.
The father and son were tracked down to Guadalupe, Caceres.
The child has now been returned to his mother and his father arrested.
