THE town council of Almuñecar has performed further works to improve the area of Velilla, Puerta del Mar and San Cristobal.“The one that required more extensive care was the Velilla beach, as the part in front of the residential complex Punta Velilla had been greatly damaged by rain during last winter,” said Environment Councillor, Luis Aragon: “In addition, we have relocated several showers and irrigation systems as well as added sand in the areas of Mariano and Tropical beach bars.”The areas of Fuentepiedra and Puerta del Mar beaches as well as San Cristobal beach have all received makeovers.
