ELEVEN new WiFi points across the three parts of Manilva mean users can now surf the net for free for one hour per day.
Points have been placed on Pozo del Rey and La Vendimia squares in Manilva, Plaza del Carmen and the green corridor in the Castillo area and on Vicente Espinel, La Colonia, Blas Infante and El Cali squares, Parque de la Noria and El Duque park and the new sports centre in Sabinillas.
Users have to connect to the Ayuntamiento de Manilva provider and register, and will be able to purchase more time if required after the free hour runs out.
The service is part of an agreement with Movistar telecommunications company, which has started to install fibre optics in the area.
