Danish tourists under arrest in Mallorca rape case

TWO Danish men, aged 26 and 21, have been detained on suspicion of drugging and raping a 25-year-old Spanish dancer in Mallorca.
It is alleged that the two men drugged the victim with liquid ecstasy. The woman was unable to remember details of the event itself but woke the following morning and found herself with the two Danes, who were naked, and had apparently been abusing her for hours.
She quickly left the scene and felt as though she had a hangover despite not drinking any alcohol the night before.
The suspects claim that they had consensual sex with the woman. The men were taken to jail before appearing in court. Police in Calvia are continuing the investigation.
