PREPARATIONS are underway for Gibraltar’s National Week towards the end of August, where celebrations typically stretch beyond one week, and will include festivals in honour of comedy and beer, and run up to the huge Gibraltar Music Festival.
The beer festival takes place on Friday August 21, from 7pm to midnight at the Bayside Sports Complex, with entertainment from Area 52 and a German oompah band. Tickets are £20, including vouchers for ten beers, and are already on sale at Lewis Stagnetto Ltd, 41 Main Street.
Elsewhere, little ones won’t miss out on the fun with free child tickets released for the Gibraltar Music Festival. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with an adult ticket for the event, where acts will include Duran Duran, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs and Paloma Faith.
