MALLORCA resident, Aina Rodriguez Neira, is collecting signatures via the change.org website to request that pets be allowed to travel by train.More than 1,500 people have signed the petition, which will be sent to the Mallorca Train Services and aims to make the island the same as other places where pets are already allowed on trains. It suggests a special area for them and a set of rules, as well as fines for those who fail to comply.Meanwhile in Palma, the President of the Can Capas and Son Gotleu Clubs for the Elderly has demanded better facilities in Orson Welles Park.Josefina Perete has asked the city hall to install a drinking fountain for children and an area that can be used by dogs as a toilet.
