Rosemary Edwards is Top Warbler on Medal Day

WINNING LINE-UP: The Warblers at Oliva Nova Golf Club.

OLIVA Nova Golf Club was the location for a Medal Competition for the Warblers this week. Conditions were hot and humid with a little breeze. The course was in good condition, which is a credit to the Green Staff.
For the main prizes in Division Two, third place went to Roy Booth, with a net 78. Second place was taken by Stafford Pemberton, with 76 but first place with a top score of net 70, went to Rosemary Edwards.
Meanwhile, in Division One, Michael Morley took third place with a 76, second spot went to Steve Head with 74. However, taking top honours was Michael Taylor with a solid looking 73.
There were two nearest the pins, one to Captain Bob Edwards, and the other to Roy Driver Booth.
The one match that was played was a very tight affair between Paddy Kenmore and Steve Robinson, Paddy just winning one up.
