Falls see two men injured in Nerja beach incidents

A MAN was rescued in Nerja’s playa Calahonda due to severe injuries sustained after falling from a rock he was attempting to climb.
Due to difficulties accessing the area where the incident took place, the lifeguards attended the scene with immobilisation equipment and were aided by the rescue team jet ski.
Local Police officers and the emergency health care team also attended the area to help with the rescue operations.
In a separate incident on the same day, a young man also suffered injuries on the Burriana beach, also due to a fall.
