IN SPITE of reappearance of lorries and workers on the road between Casapalma and Coin, locals are refusing to get their hopes up as it is hardly the first time this has happened.First launched in 1992, the project for the road has suffered endless delays and halts due to lack of funds and residents are tired of broken promises on the matter.Although no official announcement has been made by the Junta de Andalucia regional government, workers on the site allegedly said they would have the road, which was 90 per cent complete before work halted the last time, open by autumn.
