LUJAR is to receive financial aid to carry out clear up work after the July 8 fire which burnt down more than 80 per cent of its territory.The regional environment and urban planning department has announced emergency aid of €345,000 for reforestation and other works to be performed in a maximum period of three months.Experts decided that the measure was urgently required, as the aftermath of the fire could include landslides which put residents, infrastructures and properties in danger as soon as the rainy season arrives.
