Young driver killed in Pilar de la Horadada crash

A 21-year-old died in a road traffic accident in Pilar de la Horadada.
The accident happened as the youngster was driving on the CV-925 road, which links the town of Pilar de la Horadada with urbanisation Pinar de Campoverde. It is believed the driver lost control of the vehicle as drove up to the Lo Romero roundabout; the car rolled several times passing underneath a fence in to a ditch alongside the road. The driver, believed to be a resident of Pilar de la Horadada was taken to Torrevieja Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
