Denia proposes closer involvement for residents

DENIA Mayor Vicent Grimalt, and the Councillor for citizen participation, Òscar Mengual, met on Tuesday July 21 with representatives of the Federation of associations of neighbours of Denia and members of the different neighborhood associations of the city.
The meeting was held to discuss proposals by the Government team to revitalise citizen participation to improve the quality of living within the community both in terms of cleanliness and security on the city’s streets.
The various neighbourhood associations proposed formal bi-monthly meetings with the City Council to enable efficient planning to carry out agreed tasks.
