‘Walk on the Bark Side’ charity event returns

CHARITY event ‘Walk on the Bark Side’ returns for the third time as organisers Cruz Azul announce this year’s event will take place on Sunday October 4.
The three-kilometre walk will leave from Club Nautico Mar Menor, Paseo de la Concha, Los Alcazares at 11am with all walkers and their four-legged friends invited to come along and help raise funds for the Cruz Azul charity.
Entry costs €5 with forms available from the Cruz Azul Donation Centres in San Javier next to Yorkshire Linen and San Pedro del Pinatar opposite Confiteria Alicia.
All money raised will got to Cruz Azul; a charity run along similar lines to the PDSA in the UK and its mission is to provide veterinary care for the sick and injured pets of people in need and to promote responsible pet ownership and maintain veterinary services on a stable, sustainable and long-term basis. They also want to encourage funding, by raising awareness and developing an understanding of their work.
