Son arrested, accused of trying to set fire to home

A MAN has been arrested in La Linea for allegedly trying to set fire to a house in the Sagrado Corazon district with his mother inside.
The man, who police allege they found trying to use a gas bottle to set the house alight, was carrying a lighter, a 50-centimetre ‘katana’ Japanese sword, a 28-centimetre machete, various knives and a fake €50 note, the town hall reported.
