COMPLAINTS have been made about the height of a development in Arenales del Sol, which is believed to be higher than is permitted by law.
Two real estate companies have requested urgent action from the city of Elche to investigate a recent housing construction in Arenales del Sol, carried out by a third commercial builder.
This developer insists everything is legal, saying they have over 45 years of experience and that all permits and licences are in place, insisting that the accusations are false.
But the other two companies say the houses have risen, in some cases more than three metres above the elevation permitted and in other cases, are six metres taller. The impact, the complainants say, is that it has affected the sea view on the first floors of their developments.
All parties concerned are now waiting on Elche city technical services to issue a report and act according to it to access if the work is legal or not and carry out the appropriate measures.
