Tough competition for Los Genoveses

HALFWAY through the final round of Antena 3 national TV station’s competition to find the best beach in Spain, Los Genoveses in Cabo de Gata Natural Park is so far in the lead.

Yet the competition for this final, nationwide round is tough and Alicante’s Granadella, Pontevedra’s Islas Cies and Menorca’s Cala Galdana are close behind.

Although in the regional phase Los Genoveses beat the competition easily, this time is will be harder, especially bearing in mind that the Alicante beach won the last two editions of the competition.
