Villajoyosa beaches easier to reach

LAND will be compulsorily purchased in Villajoyosa to provide access to the Varadero, Estudiantes and Tio Roig beaches.

The notification appeared in the regional bulletin, Diari Oficial, and the town hall has embarked on the formalities to expropriate 577 square metres of land. 

The owner now has a month to appeal against the purchase.  The town hall will then use this to widen the road that goes down to the beach and create a parking area.
