THE REVEREND Colin Fry, who was a regular visitor to Spain, died of lung cancer on Tuesday (August 25).
He hosted a number of television programmes dealing with the supernatural, including Most Haunted, Psychic Private Eyes and 6ixth Sense with Colin Fry, as well as appearing in theatres to give live readings.
It was only last year that he became patron of the animal charity, Actin Spain and he toured the South of Spain and Gibraltar with fellow medium Derek Acorah, who tweeted: “It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of my dear friend Colin Fry. Condolences to his family and friends.”

“It is with much sadness and regret to announce that the Reverend Colin Fry, Britain’s most loved and respected Spiritualist Medium, lost his fight against cancer and passed away peacefully in hospital in the early hours at 2:50am this morning.
“Colin brought a lot of comfort to his audiences in a career which spanned for more than 30 years.
“Our sympathies and condolences go out to Colin’s family and friends.
“We, as his management, for many years would like to add that he was the most charming man with the biggest heart, who devoted his life to helping others, and he will be sorely missed.
“May his dear soul rest in peace.”
