Woman’s parking Samaritan writes off her car in Marbella centre

A WOMAN asked a stranger to help her move her car a little in a tight parking space in the Huerto de los Cristales area of Marbella centre so she didn’t block another driver. After getting into the woman’s car to help, the man sped off into the night in and turned into Avenida Severo Ochoa, crashing it into the central reservation after hitting two other passing cars along the way.

The speeding car came to a stop just a few metres away from a packed restaurant terrace and the driver jumped out and fled on foot. None of the occupants of the two cars were seriously injured but the woman’s car, which she had just bought the week before, was totally destroyed.
