FROM 2016 Petra will have three charging stations for electric cars.
It was decided at the latest plenary meeting, as there is an increasing number of electric vehicles in the area which are also being requested more and more by tourists.
So far, no other town hall has requested them, according to the spokeswoman for Mes per Petra, Caterina Mas.
The areas required will be selected by the town hall as part of an agreement between the Balearic Government and the Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy. The aim is to locate them in busy and easy to access areas.
