AFTER the heavy rains and strong wind registered last Monday (September 7), maintenance workers have retrieved more than 2,000 kilos of sticks from across the beaches of Torrox.
Tourism and Coasts councillor, Sandra Extremera explained that the cleaning team of the town retrieved the waste with the help of bulldozers.
“The high tourism season is not over yet and we aim at leaving the beaches in a pristine condition for the following weekends,” she said.
