New access finally awarded

MALAGA Provincial Council has awarded the construction works of the Parque Tecnoalimentario in El Trapiche (Velez-Malaga) new road access for a price of €645,996.

THE works, which are expected to begin in a just a few weeks, will be carried out by local company Construcciones Maygar SL, and are expected to be completed in around six months

The project was given the green light after the Junta de Andalucia Regional Government unblocked it thanks to the positive results of the Environment Regional Department.

Works will include the improvement and adaptation of the MA-3113 road that gives access to this industrial park, as well as the extension of the bridge currently located between the Carretera de Arco and the Park.
