  Re: Calpe wins award for bike path

  What bike path?? The so-called cycle path in Calpe which has cost the Calpinos more than 700,000 euros, is not only useless, but also very dangerous. And it is very rarely used by cyclists!

  Once again, Mayor César Sánchez has unnecessarily thrown money out the window! Mr. Sánchez, why didn’t you call transport professionals to the drawing board? Too expensive??
  Or why didn’t you first take a look at bike lanes in other cities such as Amsterdam or Eindhoven? Or Copenhagen, voted the safest cycling city in Europe (2015)??
