THE countdown has started and people up and down the coast are getting ready to leave their marks at Marbella’s second Neon Night on October 3, a not-to-be-missed fundraising event for all the family.
Working to raise funds for two child-related charities, CADI Association for youngsters with special needs and the Por Ser Niña (Because I’m a Girl) campaign, which fights gender discrimination on a worldwide level, Neon Nights is aiming to double last year’s turnout of 800 and create a massive glow-in-the-dark living trail of hope and solidarity.
Mums, dads, grandmas, granddads, children, babies, pets, all are welcome at the event, which includes a 2.7-kilometre walk through Puerto Banus setting off from Hard Rock Café at 9pm.
Beforehand, participants are asked to make for the meeting point on the first floor terrace at El Corte Ingles from 7.30pm to collect neon kits and other surprises.
Tickets to take part in this fun event for a great cause are available at just €10 each from the sports shoe departments at El Corte Ingles stores in Mijas, Malaga and Marbella.
EWN will be there, will you?
