Ronda residents complain as storm causes flooding

RONDA was caught out on Friday afternoon (September 25) by a heavy storm and hail that caused minor flooding in some ground floor homes and businesses, which were forced to shut up shop to clean up.

Malaga Provincial fire brigade was sent out to deal with incidents on Calle de la Bola and Calle Infantes, and the area around the bullring was slightly flooded, the council reported.

Local residents complained about the lack of drainage and asked for something to be done to avoid this common occurrence, stating they suffer from flooding every time there is heavy rain.
