Indian Ocean is now more popular than ever and has reintroduced the Curry Club

INDIAN OCEAN: Enjoy dining on the large spacious terrace.

INDIAN OCEAN is pleased to announce that the popular Curry Club is back by demand and will be holding their next event in November, with further details to be announced soon.
These nights offer diners the chance to have little curry tasters and have become the ideal way for people to try dishes they may not otherwise. They have joined Indian Ocean’s regular charity nights and fashion shows that are held to support local charities and good causes, something important to owner Mohsin Reza who has been running Indian Ocean in Doña Pepa for over a decade. Despite ups and downs with the economic crisis, the restaurant is as strong as ever and Mohsin said 2014 and the start of 2015 have been amongst the best years the restaurant has had with them welcoming new regulars and holidaymakers alike.
With glamorous high ceilings and chandeliers as well as upstairs space and an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining, Indian Ocean is a great place to enjoy an intimate meal for two or to enjoy a large gathering with friends and family. Whilst the restaurant itself is a lovely environment to dine in, food is of course behind its success with Mohsin priding himself on the quality and freshness of the Bangladeshi food: “Ninety-five per cent of restaurants in the UK are actually Bangladeshi rather than Indian and it is a slightly different type of cuisine so we offer the much loved tastes that people are so fond of in the UK.”
Now they are also beginning to introduce a few new ingredients and make subtle little changes to things like garnishes which are proving popular with customers enhancing the flavours and presentation of the dishes.
Indian Ocean remains open every day for lunch from 12-3pm and again in the evening from 6pm. Menu del dia offers the most affordable way to try the cuisine costing €8.95 for poppadoms, any main dish (excluding king prawn) and your choice of rice or naan bread and a small drink. The evening menu is €10.95 for any starter, any main (excluding king prawn) rice or naan.
A discount of 10 per cent is available on all takeaways and for orders over €20 you will receive a free bottle of wine.
With so many positive reviews on their Facebook page and TripAdvisor, having received the Certificate of Excellence for 2015, why not try Indian Ocean for yourself.
The Indian Ocean is easily accessible from the Lemon Tree road just off the roundabout at Doña Pepa.
