LA PRIMITIVA lottery in Barcelona will hand out the biggest prize in its history to one lucky winner who bought the only winning ticket of Thursday October 16´s draw.
The ticket holder won in the Special Category after choosing all six main numbers and the return number and is set to receive €101,724,559.
This is the first time the lottery hit €100 million after over six months of rollovers leading up to October’s draw.
The odds of winning had been calculated at 139,838,160 to one with another jackpot of at least €100 million on offer in the Euro Millions Super Draw on Friday November 6.
Up to now the lottery’s largest payout was in August 2013 when a lucky participant in Sevilla won €67.1 million.
