MALAGA has been making its presence felt at the Language Show Live event at Olympia in London, in an aim to attract more British students to come to the city to learn Spanish.
Although Malaga is currently the top destination in Andalucia and the second in Spain for language tourism, just 4.5 per cent of the 400,000 students who have spent time in the city learning the language over the last 10 years were British.
The Language Live Show, which last year received more than 9,500 visits, is a perfect event to encourage students to Malaga, Tourism Councillor Julio Andrade said, and contacts made within the sector at the event will be invited to visit on a familiarisation trip to see first-hand what the area has to offer.
